Mudflow season in the Talgar district

For the purpose of timely and complete implementation of measures to prevent emergency situations during the passage of the village, landslide-dangerous period, the employees of the emergency services of the Talgar district are doing large-scale work. Villages, landslides-dangerous and potentially dangerous sections of rivers, protective dams, reservoirs and hydraulic structures have been taken under control. Every day, together with the IATETU and ZHATEU of the State Enterprise "Kazselezashchita" and the State Municipal Enterprise of Water Management "Talgarirrigation" of the Talgar district, the state and water level on rivers and water bodies in the district, mudslide-prone and landslide-prone areas, as well as the state of snow reserves are monitored. In order to ensure the safety of people in mudslide-prone areas, recommendations have been issued. In places of potential mudflow danger, high-altitude hydraulic posts are abandoned for the summer period: the Bolshaya Polyana post –the levy Talgar River, the Alpine Camp post – the Sredny Talgar River, the Bolshoy Klyuch post – a tributary of the Levy Talgar River.

​- in case of unfavorable weather conditions (heavy precipitation), proposals are made to local executive bodies in a timely manner, on restricting access to the population in the village and landslide-dangerous areas (mountainous terrain);

​- the forces and means of civil protection have been put on alert for rapid response to threats and the occurrence of emergency situations;
