We always pay special attention to preventive measures for fire safety. It is very important to convey to citizens in a timely manner complete and detailed information on the safe operation of heating furnaces.
At the end of the preventive measures, the citizens were handed a certificate with fire safety rules, emergency phone numbers and instructions on how to behave in the event of a fire.
Dear residents! Remember:
- before the start of the heating season, stoves and chimneys must be cleaned, repaired and whitewashed, cracks must be sealed;
- before the start of the heating season, each furnace, as well as the wall smoke channels within the room, and especially the chimneys in the attic, should be whitewashed with lime or clay mortar, so that cracks appearing black from the smoke passing through them can be noticed on a white background;
- the furnace, the chimney at the junctions with wooden attic or inter-floor ceilings should have a thickening of the brickwork-cutting. Do not forget about the thickening of the walls of the furnace;
- it is extremely dangerous to leave burning stoves unattended or in the care of young children. Do not use flammable and flammable liquids for ignition of furnaces;
- any furnace should have an independent foundation and not be adjacent to the entire plane of one of the walls to wooden structures. It is necessary to leave an air gap between them-an indentation;
- on the wooden floor before the furnace, it is necessary to nail a metal (pre-heating) sheet;
- in order to prevent the furnace from rolling, it is recommended to heat it 2-3 times a day and no more than an hour and a half; - 3 hours before bedtime, the furnace should be stopped;
- to avoid the formation of cracks in the masonry, it is necessary to periodically clean the chimney from soot accumulating in it;
- do not dry things and raw firewood on the stove. And make sure that the furniture, curtains are at least half a meter from the array of the heating furnace;
- in no case should you melt the stove with firewood that does not fit into the furnace in length. According to the logs, the fire can go out and spread to the nearest objects, the floor and walls;
- in places where combustible and difficult-to-burn structures of buildings (walls, partitions, ceilings, beams) are adjacent to stoves and chimneys, it is necessary to provide cutting from fireproof materials!
