Heatinq season

Heatinq season

With the onset of cold weather, all residents of the private sector flooded the furnaces. It is during this season that the number of "furnace" fires associated with violation of fire safety rules during operation and installation of heating furnaces increases. There is another problem – many people pour out the still cold ash near the burnt structures of houses and sheds, thinking that the ash does not pose any danger. However, this is not the case.

There are many cases when the source of ignition is ash, which residents pour out close to the house, household buildings. Unsuspecting residents are engaged in household chores, someone goes to work. Meanwhile, the  cold fuel is being picked up by houses and outbuildings.

Soot is not ash, but unburned fuel that can burn and even ignite sharply (flash). Ash and slag must be raked out of the furnaces,  watered with water and then removed to a specially designated safe place for them.Ash and slag containing incandescent and smoldering materials, after being  raked out of the furnaces, are removed to a specially designated place for them, eliminating the possibility of a fire, and are spilled with water.

Remember, it is better to warn yourself from trouble than to reap the consequences of a fire.
