30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan is a young, free and independent goverment, successfully developing its economy and moving forward on the road of reforms and transformations to prosperity and stability. It is a great government with a rich history, ancient culture and unique nature. This year, the residents of the country celebrate the 30th anniversary of independence. For 30 years, Kazakhstan has managed to successfully cope with most of the tasks facing it.
Homeland is an important and dear word for all people of the world. Each person has his own understanding of the Homeland. By this word, I mean my family, the city, my native school and our entire huge country. I love my homeland, which gave us a peaceful sky over our heads, its ancient history, which gave us a unique culture and traditions.
Nursultan Nazarbayev established close contacts with Turkey in 1990, after the adoption of the Declaration on Goverment Sovereignty of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the first agreement on cultural cooperation was signed. It was this declaration that opened the doors for Kazakhstan to establish international relations. Also, one of the achievements is the unity of all people. After all, Kazakhstan was recognised by the world community. Technologies and innovations are developing in the sectors of economy, medicine, education and culture.
Kazakhstan is a country of friendship, understanding and harmony, which are so necessary for a peaceful life, where more than 150 nations and nationalities live. So, on the first of May, Kazakhstan celebrates one of the good and bright holidays – the Day of Unity of Nations of Kazakhstan. Each of them has its own culture and traditions. Thus, in order to ensure social and political harmony in the country, the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan was established. Thanks to the activities of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan, diverse, ethnic, cultural, religious groups that make up a great nation can participate in the process of making important decisions that affect their lives.
On December 16, in 1991, Kazakhstan acquired the status of an independent republic. This is the most important event that influenced and rebuilt the lives of all Kazakhstan. For 30 years, Kazakhstan has become recognisable in the international arena, and the list of achievements in the period of sovereignty is constantly growing. Also, the country is in the top 30 sports powers in the world. Every sovereign country has goverment symbols, our goverment symbols include the flag, the coat of arms and the anthem. These symbols represent the highest values of our Independence.
We should notice the role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, because the insight, foresight, wisdom, and scale of the worldview of the Leader of the Nation have provided stability and prosperity to our country for many years. After all, through the policy of Elbasy Kazakhstan has turned into a state with a developing economy and democratic foundations.
One of the main successes of Kazakhstan is the construction of the capital – the city of Nur-Sultan. A modern city appeared in a short period of time, which became the hallmark of the country. Today Nur-Sultan is not just an administrative centre, but a symbol of the country's Independence and development. The city has become a platform for international political and cultural events.
Today's Kazakhstan does not stop at the achieved results, but constantly sees new horizons in the social, political and other spheres. New jobs are being created in the country, socio-economic problems of cities and regions are being solved.
Kazakhstan has successfully passed and demonstrates amazing growth rates. This is the golden era of history. The country, which occupied one of the last positions in terms of the standard of living of the population, is now confidently leading in many ways. In this regard, the citizens themselves have become the builders of their country, their independent Kazakhstan. Today we can see the result of the tireless work of our people. After all, the Republic of Kazakhstan is a democratic, secular, legal and social government, the highest values of which are a person, his life, rights and freedom.
Kazakhstan is my peaceful home! My country! My homeland!
