"Children against fires!"

Fires that occur due to a child's prank with fire are, unfortunately, not a rare phenomenon. The end of such fires can be very tragic – the death of a child. Almost all young children show an increased interest in fire, not fully realizing its potential danger.  At the age of three to five years, children often repeat adults in their games, imitating their actions, work. At this age, children want to learn and experience everything more quickly. The desire for independence is especially evident when children are left alone at home.

Employees of the civil protection of children in preschool institutions held the Action "Match the price of one life" within the framework of the Action "Children against fires", where classes, competitions on fire safety were held with children in a playful form and with creative approaches, as well as in order to instill children from an early age to patriotism to our Motherland and to the civil protection body.

What you need to do in order to avoid a fire from a child's prank with fire:
- tell children about fire-safe behavior;
- be an example in all situations related to compliance with fire safety rules;
— do not leave matches in a place accessible to children;
- do not instruct children to light stoves, gas stoves, or turn on household appliances themselves;
- make sure that children do not light fires;
— when leaving the house, do not leave young children without adult supervision;
- organize an interesting leisure time for your child.
Teach your child the correct actions in case of fire.

If a fire or a sign of gorenje (smoke, high temperature, burning smell, etc.) is detected, a child of any age should immediately leave the room.
Report a fire to adults or to the fire department by calling the unified rescue phone number "101".
As they say: "The forbidden fruit is sweet!", therefore it is more useful to explain once again to the child about the danger lurking in a box of matches, a lighter, than just to say: "You can't!"
Parents!

· When heating stoves are heated, do not lock children at home alone.
* Do not give matches to children. From a small match, large fires occur.
