Raiding activities on lake Balkhash
On July 8 of this year, employees of the Emergency Situations Department of the Sarkan region, together with local executive bodies of the village of Lepsy in connection with the swimming season
a seminar-meeting was held for representatives of the recreation areas of Lake Balkhash on prevention of emergencies on the water. Vacationers were given reminders "Safety rules for behavior on the water" and"First aid to a drowning man," and explained the consequences of bring their irresponsible attitude towards their own safety. After all one of the main causes of water accidents is swimming in
unequipped places.To avoid accidents, you must always adhere to a few simple rules of behavior on the water:- do not swim while drunk. Under the influence of alcohol, people often
overestimate their strengths, and also commit reckless acts in the attitude of others, which often leads to disastrous consequences;
- do not swim in dangerous, prohibited places;
- it is forbidden to jump into the water in unfamiliar places, play games in the water,
associated with the capture, swim over the buoys and fences;
- it is dangerous to dive in places of unknown depth, as you can hit
head on sand, clay, break your cervical vertebrae;
- do not leave children on the shore of the reservoir unattended by adults who can
swim and provide first aid;
- do not allow children to go to water bodies and swim without permission;
- if your leg is bent while swimming, for a second plunge headlong into
water and, straightening your leg, strongly pull your foot towards you by the big toe. Compliance with these rules will allow you to safely spend your summer leisure on reservoirs.
Employees of the Department for Emergency Situations of the Sarkan region once again appeal to residents and guests of the region, with a request to observe the rules of safe conduct on water. We remind you that such raids will continue until the endbathing season!
