An employee of the emergency department of the Almaty region became the winner of the Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan in zhekpe-zhek among men.

The profession of a firefighter requires good physical fitness, strong nerves, endurance, the ability to overcome the fear of the raging elements and, of course, an impeccable reputation. This profession is chosen by people with a strong character, iron willpower, and a strong spirit. Firefighters, risking their lives, save people's lives and this is their duty. Rushing into the fiery flame, without a moment's delay, they rush to the rescue. When rescuing them, they need to take into account every single detail, the success of the rescue operation depends on it. And in this battle with fire, the strongest wins.

Also in sports-you need self-control, ingenuity, willpower, courage and fighting spirit.

One of the employees of the emergency department of the Almaty region, whose life is not only a favorite job, but also a great sport, is Zhaksylykbayev Sanzhar Sabyrzhanovich. Since 2017, Sanzhar has been working as a senior firefighter in the fire department No. 19 of the Saryozek village of the State Enterprise "SP and ASR" of the Emergency Department of the Almaty region. He is a master of sports in Jiu-jitsu, a 2-time champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a master of sports in mixed martial arts MMA, a master of sports in pankration, a master of sports in martial arts, a winner of prizes at several international competitions. The path to victory was not easy, there were ups, downs and injuries. Courage, heroism, selflessness, patriotism and fighting spirit — the qualities that the older generation of firefighters brings up in young fighters, helped Sanzhar to reach heights in sports.

Sanzhar was born in 1993 in the village of Shokan, Kerbulak district. After graduating from the school named after Sh. Ualikhanov was born in the village of Shokan, Sanzhar entered the Zhetysu State University named after I. Zhansugurov in Taldykorgan, which he successfully graduated in 2019 with a degree in life safety and environmental protection. In the future, Sanjar plans to become an officer of the civil protection authorities.

The last of Sanzhar's achievements was the victory at the men's zhekpe-zhek Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which was held in Aktobe from June 17 to 20, 2021. He became the winner of the competition organized by the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the weight category of 85 kg.
