PROTECT YOUR CROPS from fire

With the onset of summer, fires in the cultivated fields became more frequent. In order to avoid fires during the fire-dangerous period, the Department of Emergency Situations of Almaty region district would like to remind you once again what fire-fighting measures should be carried out:

- to the heads of agricultural enterprises, farms, etc. to appoint persons responsible for fire safety, to conduct fire-fighting instruction with machine operators, to organize control over compliance with fire safety rules for the period of the harvest season;

 - before departure of harvesting machines and tractors on grain massifs and hayfields to equip them with serviceable spark extinguishers, to equip with means of fire extinguishing,

 - to protect the fields during the ripening and harvesting of grain, to allocate sentinels and field detourers;

- grain fields in the places where they are adjacent to woodlands, steppe strips, autorouds and railways should be mowed and plowed with a strip (width of at least 4 meters).),

 - during the harvest period, it is forbidden to burn stubble, crop residues and build fires in the fields.

If you follow the fire safety rules when harvesting grain crops, you can completely eliminate the possibility of a fire on grain arrays
