Appointed Chairman of the Forestry and Wildlife Committee of the Ministry of Ecology

Today, the Minister of Ecology S. Brekeshev presented to the team the new head of the Forestry and Wildlife Committee, Nurlan Nauryzovich Kylyshbayev.

Kylyshbayev was born in 1971 in the Almaty region. He graduated from the Kazakh Institute of Forestry with a degree in Forestry Engineering and the D.Kunaev Humanitarian Institute with a degree in law.

He started his career in 1994 as a leading engineer of the hunting department of the Taldykorgan Timber Industry Association.

Over the years, he held responsible positions in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, akimats of Zhambyl region and Almaty.

He also worked as Deputy Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management of the Almaty region, Akim of the Eskeldinsky district of the Almaty region.

  1. Kylyshbayev was a deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 2016 to 2021.
