In the "Institution № 48", during the implementation of operational information by the administration staff together with the servicemen of military unit №6637, a Samsung smartphone with a photo-video camera and Internet access was found and seized among the documents in the glove compartment of a Gazelle truck entering the territory.
In connection with the commission of an administrative offense against a motor vehicle driver, materials were collected and sent to the court of the city of Petropavlovsk for prosecution. According to Article 481 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the driver faces a warning or a fine in the amount of ten monthly calculation indices with the confiscation of the above-mentioned phone.
"The institutions have internal regulations, according to which there is a list and number of things and objects that convicts are allowed to have with them. It is prohibited to store and use money and securities, as well as other items, documents, things, products, substances, food products that are not provided for by internal regulations, including cell phones. In case of detection of such, they are withdrawn by the administration of the institution",- notes the operative of the regime department Nurbolat Serali.
