Competition of professional skills among convicts

Every year, the Petropavlovsk Vocational College, located on the territory of the "Institution No.48", holds professional skill contests among convicted men.

One of such competitions for the title of "The best master of carpentry and parquet works" was held among students of study group No.04. After opening the competition, the deputy director of the "Petropavlovsk Professional College" Khabdullin T.E. made a welcoming speech. In his speech he wished all participants the maximum number of points and undoubted good luck. The competition was held in two stages: theoretical and practical.

In the theoretical task, students had to answer the test questions, solve a crossword puzzle and complete the task "Wordogram" on composing the names of tools from a set of letters.

The task of the practical task was to manufacture a joiner's joint for a straight, through and single spike according to the technological map.

A separate workplace with tools and the necessary amount of material was equipped for each student. Each contestant worked independently, observing safety regulations.

According to the results of the two stages, all the convicts coped with the tasks assigned to them, but the jury had to determine the winners who scored the maximum number of points. The first place was awarded to Gorobets M.E., the second – Vigerich A.I., the third – Lazerev I.V. All prize-winners received diplomas and memorable gifts.

It is worth noting that the gap in points between all the contestants was small, so consider that each of you coped perfectly",- said Kuat Nurkaidarov, inspector of the department of labor organization of convicts.
