Psychological club "Phoenix"

In order to form mutual trust, understanding, and knowledge among convicts about personal characteristics and ways to deal with stressful situations, a psychological club called "Phoenix" was created together with convicts in institution No. 48 of the Department of the Penal Enforcement System of the North Kazakhstan Region.
"Phoenix" - symbolizes rebirth, liberation, and motivates a person to create ideas, helping to move in the right direction, achieving the goal.
The psychological club includes convicts who are interested in psychology, social knowledge, and are aimed at self-development and self-knowledge. Thus, 2 groups of 15 people were formed.
The Psychological club has already carried out a number of activities aimed at overcoming difficulties, working out internal fears and conflicts, and during the trainings the convicts were taught to freely express their feelings and experiences, to correctly set life priorities. In the process of work, the convicts found like-minded people, supported each other, shared their experiences, which often helps another person to reconsider life tasks from a different point of view.
A number of rules have been introduced in the club, such as politeness, tolerance and goodwill, besides, the content of meetings should be exclusively informative.
