An "Open Day" was held at the institution No. 48 of the Department of the Penal Enforcement System of the North Kazakhstan Region with the invitation of the Republican Association of Tajiks

On September 16 of this year, at the initiative of the Department of the Penal Enforcement System for the North Kazakhstan Region, an "Open Day" for relatives of convicts was organized in institution No. 48. It should be noted that this event is held in the institution for the third time since the beginning of the year, the purpose of which is to preserve socially useful ties with relatives and ensure the successful re-socialization of convicts in society.
55 relatives came to meet with the convicts not only from our region, but also from other regions of the republic. During the event, a tour of the institution was conducted for the guests.
As part of the close cooperation of the Department of the Penal Enforcement System with the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan, representatives of the Republican Association of Tajiks in the North Kazakhstan region, represented by the head of U.M.Rajabov, were invited to the event as guests, who organized a charity event. On behalf of the association, a national dish of Tajik cuisine - pilaf and other treats was prepared for guests and convicts. The main purpose of the action is to remind people serving sentences about home comfort, to popularize the maintenance of national customs and traditions, as well as friendly relations with all the peoples of Kazakhstan.
Such events not only have a positive effect on the psycho-emotional state of convicts, but also motivate them to achieve certain successes in their lives.
"It's nice to see real emotions in the eyes of not only mothers, fathers, wives and children, but also people who have crossed the line of the law, who know the value of the family. We believe that such events play an important role in the further adaptation of convicts in society. I think each of them understands that the main value is our families",- notes the head of the Republican Association of Tajiks Rajabov U.M.
Relatives of the convicts, in turn, sincerely thanked the guests and employees of the institution's administration for the opportunity to visit the institution, communicate with relatives and see with their own eyes how their loved ones live in places of deprivation of liberty.
