Convicts registered with the probation service visited places of cultural education in Petropavlovsk

Employees of the Probation Service of the Kyzylzhar district of the Department of the Penal Enforcement System of the North Kazakhstan region, together with the Akimat of the district center of the village of Beskol, held a field event with the participation of convicts without isolation from society who are registered.
According to the plan of the event, the convicts visited the Museum Complex "Abylai Khan's Residence" and the North Kazakhstan Regional Museum of Local Lore, and also took part in a lecture on the topic "Let's say no to violence!" and a training on developing trusting relationships organized by the psychologist Resida Salimzhanovna.
In the Residence, the museum staff developed a special excursion program, during which they told about the life of Abylai Khan, the traditions and culture of the Kazakh people.
The museum exposition is presented in 4 halls. In the first hall of the museum there are materials telling about the childhood and youth of Abylai Khan. In the second hall there are apartments made in the traditional Kazakh style. In the third hall you can see the central exhibit - the figure of Abylai Khan, traditional clothes of those times, household items and weapons. The fourth hall is presented with materials that reveal Abylai Khan as an outstanding statesman, politician, competent diplomat and talented commander.
The Local history Museum got acquainted with the materials of archaeological research of Northern Kazakhstan, the guests were presented with unique exhibits of ancient epochs revealing the history of the region.
The final, but no less interesting stage - training – took place on the street platform of the ART Center of Petropavlovsk. The participants showed a good result in assessing mutual assistance and trust, although many of them were not unfamiliar with each other before this event.
The event was held with the aim of re-socializing convicts, introducing them to culture, as well as preventing repeated crimes.
