An "Agrotechnical College" was opened on the territory of colony No. 51 Department of the Penal Enforcement System in North Kazakhstan region

The agrotechnical college of the village of Saumalkol of the Ayyrtau district opened its doors in the institution No. 51 of the Department of the Penal Enforcement System of the North Kazakhstan region as part of the beginning of the academic year. For fifty convicts, this day has become special, because now they have the opportunity to get an education in the new specialties "master builder of a wide profile" and "gas-electric welder".
A solemn speech was delivered by the director of the college Zhanakhmetov B.T., who wished all students success in their studies and new discoveries. On behalf of the management, the Deputy Chief for General Issues and Organization of labor of convicts, justice major S.S. Spasskaya, spoke with parting words.
After the solemn line-up, the convicts dispersed to their classrooms, where their first "class hour" was held. In the future, in addition to theoretical classes, practical ones will also take place, where convicts will begin to apply the knowledge and skills they have already acquired in practice. After 10 months of training, they will be certified specialists.
