Excursions to the museums of Petropavlovsk were organized for the convicts

On August 16, within the framework of the state social order from the district akimat, for the purpose of educational work, as well as spiritual development, the probation service of the Mamlyutsky district of the Department of the Penitentiary System in the North Kazakhstan region with the assistance of the municipal state institution "Mayor's Office of the Mamlyutsky district of the North Kazakhstan region" organized an action for convicts registered in the probation service.
This action was held in the regional Museum of Local Lore, as well as in the museum-estate of Abylaikhan's residence. The purpose of this event is to form a respectful attitude to culture among convicts.
"Most of the convicts visited the local history museum and Abylaykhan's residence for the first time. Looking at their joyful faces, I see that such attention from the district leadership is good for them. Such trips not only bring together, but also help to embark on the path of correction. Spiritual culture has not been canceled. I want to express my gratitude on behalf of myself and my students for this opportunity",- said the head of the probation service Almagul Seitova.
The Regional Museum of Local History is one of the richest collections of artistic values in Kazakhstan, which was established in 1924. It is considered to be the largest center on the territory of Kazakhstan, which has collected unique and rare artistic values. The museum has more than 350 thousand exhibits representing the works of Kazakh and foreign masters. 13 halls are presented to visitors, each of which is unique in its own way, these are various exhibits, paintings, jewelry, ceramic figurines, wood products, stone Age tools, figurines, tableware, household items, various types of weapons and much more.
The guides told in detail about the history of each exhibit. In general, the trip was informative, according to the convicts, they really liked the tour, the museum atmosphere, as well as friendly and polite staff who enthusiastically introduced the values of the two museums.
"I liked the tour, I didn't know that so many historical events and discoveries took place in our region. The remains of ancient animals surprised the most. Now I'm thinking of bringing my children here, let them see it too, they will surely be interested, since even we adults liked it. I advise everyone to visit such places, as it turned out there are a lot of interesting and useful things here",- one of the convicts shared his impressions.
I would like to express special gratitude to the district akimat, the Department of Internal Policy and Language Development for a unique opportunity to plunge into the world of history.
