Evening of prose and poetry in the women's colony.

The North Kazakhstan region has become the birthplace of many outstanding classics of Kazakh literature. Among them are S.Mukanov, G.Musrepov, I.Shukhov, M.Zhumabaev, S.Shaimerdenov. At all times, various literary associations were created in Petropavlovsk, which contributed to the disclosure of talents and were engaged in publishing their works.
Currently, the Mikhail Averin Literary Association has been operating in our city for many years.
So, on 14.08.2022, as part of the celebration of the 116th anniversary of our countryman, writer Ivan Petrovich Shukhov, the head of the literary association Kirill Filonov, who is a member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan and Russia, visited the RSI "ES-164/6 Institution".
In the literary club "Ellegia", which operates on the basis of the institution, K. Filonov told the convicted women about the life and work of Ivan Shukhov.
Ivan Petrovich is a great master of the pen, translator and journalist, whose works today are passed down from generation to generation and are read by all peoples. During the meeting, the convicts discussed with the guests such works as "Hatred", "Bitter Line", "Memories", "Homeland" and others.
A young and talented poet, novelist and member of the Association of Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mikhail Gvozdev, came to the meeting with Kirill Filon, who read his poems about love, patriotism and native lands.
In turn, the convicts told about the activities of the literary club "Ellegia", read poems of their own composition, to which the guests of the event gave a good assessment and advice.
"The library of the institution welcomed us with a kind atmosphere. A literary club organized by convicts has been working here for two years. Next to the bouquet of flowers placed on the table in the reading room, I put a photo of Ivan Petrovich Shukhov, which I brought from home. Our warm communication with the women staying here lasted for two hours. The bright lines of Shukhov were replaced by poems about the life and love of Mikhail Gvozdev",- Kirill Filonov said.
The meeting was held in an informal warm atmosphere. Both sides thanked each other for the warm welcome, positive emotions and planned further joint work, the purpose of which is to educate the convicts love for their native land, its people and history.
