Reading books is one of the main hobbies of many convicted women. For most of them, it will not be difficult to read such famous books as "The Way of Abai" or "War and Peace". It is well known that reading broadens horizons, develops emotional intelligence, memory and thinking. It is also the best way to pass the time and at the same time replenish your knowledge base.

On the eve of the World Book Lovers' Day, which is celebrated annually on August 9, an intellectual game "In the World of Books" organized by the literary club "Elegia" was held at the RSI "ES-164/6 Institution".

By drawing lots, the convicts were divided into two teams - "Wise Men" and "Literary Ladies". The game consisted of 4 main stages.

Round 1-in 3 minutes to spread 30 books on two shelves, dividing the authors into writers and poets;

Round 2-guess a quote from a work of famous classics;

Round 3-recreate an episode from a literary work;

Round 4-create your own quote from 20 suggested words.

The convicted women approached each task with all seriousness. During the game, they not only remembered the books they had read, but also interested other convicts who had not previously been fond of reading. According to the results of the game, the "Literary Ladies" won by a margin of 4 points.

"Each team distinguished itself by its wit, well-read, creativity, and this is not surprising. Most of the books from the library have already been read and are constantly being updated with new ones. The convicts show great interest in reading",- the staff of the institution's library say.
