The presentation of certificates to convicts took place in the Institutions of the ES-164/3,6 DUIS of the North Kazakhstan Region
According to Article 127 of the Criminal Executive Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
"In institutions, mandatory receipt of convicts is organized,
under the age of 30, primary, basic secondary, general secondary education".
All over the country there are events for awarding certificates to graduates of secondary schools. On June 16, 2022, a solemn event was organized in the Institutions of the ES-164/3,6 on the occasion of the presentation of certificates to convicts on the completion of evening secondary school. Today, the convicts' clothes were decorated with "Blue Ribbons" of graduates.
In the men's colony (Institution EU-164/3), 13 convicts received certificates of completion of the 11th grade, 5 convicts received certificates of completion of the 9th grade, in the women's colony (Institution ES-164/6), Grade 9 graduated - 2, Grade 11 - 5 convicted women.
The director of the school Zhanalyk Kusainov, the deputy head of the institution for educational work of the Institution EU-164/3 DUIS for North Kazakhstan Region, Lieutenant Colonel of Justice Rustem Rakhmetov, the class teacher Nikolai Maksimov addressed the graduates of the evening school with words of farewell.
At the end of the event, a concert of amateur performances was organized by the convicts, the convicts told poems, sang songs about their school years. The convicts thanked the management of the institution and teachers for the opportunity to receive secondary education in places of deprivation of liberty.

There was more time here, I did not miss classes, I carefully and with interest prepared for lessons. Here is a good opportunity for everyone who once missed their opportunity, there is a chance to catch up," the convict Ivan shared.
Natalia, a 34-year-old convict of a women's colony, also received a school graduation certificate on this day. She is the "Oldest" graduate among convicted men and women.
