Employees of the probation service department visited the detention center

The Department of the Probation service of the city of Petropavlovsk DUIS in the North Kazakhstan Region consists of persons sentenced to non-custodial punishments, such as community service, restriction of liberty, suspended sentence, deferred execution of punishment and deprivation of the right to occupy a certain position or engage in a certain activity.
Each of these measures provides for compliance by the convicted person with the established procedure and conditions for serving the sentence, these norms are regulated by criminal and penal enforcement legislation.
As practice shows, not all the registered departments of the probation service justify the chance for correction outside of a closed institution, do not comply with the requirements of the court decision and the probation service department, maliciously evading serving a sentence or even hiding from the control of OSP inspectors. In such cases, the law provides for the replacement of punishment with a more severe one, in particular, deprivation of liberty.
For 4 months of 2022, the punishment for violating the rules was replaced by imprisonment for 31 convicts. For 12 months of 2021, the punishment was replaced by 142 registered probation service departments.
The Department of the Probation Service of Petropavlovsk conducted an excursion for registered persons to the pre-trial detention facility (Institution EC-164/1 DUIS for North Kazakhstan region). For the first time, the "young age" students, from 20 to 25 years old, visited the tour. The students were familiarized with the daily routine, as well as the conditions of detention.
- These persons have never served a sentence in prison before. The purpose of the tour is to warn them against violating the rules of serving their sentence. The tour is held for the first time, today 10 students took part in it. In the future, the tour will be held quarterly, - the head of the probation service department, Major of Justice Azamat Makenov.

But, today I saw the sky with my own eyes through the cage. A feeling of jitters. I don't want to be here. There are 3 months left before the deadline.
