A cartoon contest among convicts was held in the colony of North Kazakhstan

A contest “Both in jest and in earnest” dedicated to the Day of Laughter was held in the institution of the ES-164/3 Department of the UIS for North Kazakhstan Region. The first stage of the competition was held at the colony level. This competition was attended by convicts who took the initiative and tried to express their attitude to this or that event with the help of drawings, cartoons and caricatures, approached them with humor and originality.
The convicts were also able to reflect their creativity, imagination, individuality, as the works were performed in various types, genres and techniques. The jury members evaluated the drawings according to the main criteria: the availability of additional visual aids, the relevance and efficiency of the caricature material, the overall design of the drawing, the color scheme.
Each category was evaluated according to a five-point system. As a result of the competition, three winners were determined, who were awarded by the deputy head of the institution for educational work.
