Deprived of rights for life

Deprived of the right to drive vehicles for a period of 5 years, Nikolai, after sitting with a friend, having drunk a lot, got behind the wheel in a state of alcoholic intoxication in order to get home. On the way to the house, he was stopped by traffic police officers. The conclusion of the medical examination showed that Nikolai was in a state of moderate intoxication.

Nikolay was found guilty of committing a crime under part 1 of Article 346 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Driving a vehicle by a person deprived of the right to drive vehicles and being in a state of alcoholic, narcotic and (or) toxic intoxication, or transferring control of a vehicle to such a person, as well as allowing such a person to drive a vehicle, committed by an official or the owner or owner of a vehicle) and he was sentenced to community service for a period of 600 hours with life imprisonment of the right to drive vehicles.
