"Day of kindness"

The personnel of the Department of the Penal Enforcement System of the North Kazakhstan Region declared a "Day of Good". More than 20 employees donated blood to create an optimal supply and continuous distribution of the component, becoming gratuitous donors. In total, in the past 2021, more than 130 employees replenished blood supplies in the "Blood Center".
Every day, blood is required for victims of various disasters, during complex operations, as well as for children with oncological diseases. In turn, the specialists of the "Regional Blood Center" are glad to see the personnel of the DUIS in the North Kazakhstan Region in the ranks of volunteers. After all, the guards regularly undergo medical examinations and have good physical fitness.
There has been a special snowfall in recent days. Employees of the ES-164/1,3,6,9 institutions and departments of probation services in Petropavlovsk and the districts of DUIS in the North Kazakhstan region, as well as with volunteers from among the convicts, assisted in snow removal to more than 20 pensioners, clearing their yards and nearby territories from snow to the house. Since pensioners often live alone and especially need help.

We live together with my wife in a private house. I am 90 years old, my wife will soon turn 88. There is a lot of snow, we are no longer able to keep the neighborhood clean in winter. Probation officers constantly come, clean the snow, help with cleaning the house if necessary, and bring in essential products. Today we helped to remove the snow and chop firewood, - says pensioner Nikolai Andreevich.
In the outgoing year 2021, the staff of the DIS for North Kazakhstan region provided assistance to more than 55 families, donated more than 65 liters of blood, distributed antiseptics and masks. In 2022, we will continue to provide assistance to those in need," said the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for North Kazakhstan Region, Colonel of Justice Rustan Akhmetzhanov.

It is worth noting that the convicts willingly go to help those in need. This is one of the important steps in their re-socialization.
