The convict, having concluded for himself that the prolonged period of alcoholism does not lead to good, expressed a desire to voluntarily undergo treatment for alcoholism. He turned to the probation service of the Akkayinsky district of the DUIS in the North Kazakhstan region to assist him in placing him in the Mental Health Center of the city of Petropavlovsk. The probation service immediately provided assistance in collecting the necessary documents, namely in passing the examination in the district polyclinic. – I was treated for alcoholism for a month. Now I don't drink, this is undoubtedly a new page in my life," says convict A. On an ongoing basis, the department of the probation service of the Akkayinsky district interacts with all organizations to improve life and provide assistance in all directions to persons registered with the probation service.

Since the beginning of the year, inspectors of the OSP of the Akkayinsky district of the DUIS have provided social assistance to more than 10 convicts in the North Kazakhstan region.
