Social and legal assistance in criminal justice institutions

Employees of the probation service, together with the administration of the ES-164/3 institution of the DUIS for the North Kazakhstan Region, in accordance with the "Methodological recommendations for the organization of the work of penitentiary probation", work is being carried out to provide social and legal assistance to convicts who fall under penitentiary probation.
Under the penitentiary probation fall convicts serving a sentence of imprisonment in institutions of the penal system, for a certain period, which before serving the term remained one year, regardless of the category of severity of the crimes committed by them.
Thus, the convicts were familiarized with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 23.10.2014 No. 1131 "On the provision of social and legal assistance to persons registered with the probation service". They were explained the rules for providing social and legal assistance, as well as an individual program was drawn up and the rules for receiving social and legal assistance after release from prison were explained.
