Psychological action "Tree of wishes"

Psychological actions are a type of psychological work in a playful way. A psychological action is a game environment that is created for a certain time in the space of a certain place. This game environment does not prevent other types of activities from unfolding during working hours, it is economical in terms of time, unobtrusive and unusual. Currently, measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection do not allow holding joint events for a large number of convicts, but despite the fact that the action is a group method of work, it has a purely individual focus. The event directly affects every person: convicted or arrested under investigation.
The main goal of the campaign is to create conditions for the formation of a moral and psychological climate, the development of communication skills in the cell or in the squad.
During the week, the psychological action "Wish Tree" with a special agent was held in the EU-164/1 DUIS Institution for the North Kazakhstan Region of the institution's Psychology Department. The stand depicted a tree on which the convicted and the arrested could leave wishes to each other on stickers of various colors. The objectives of this action were: to create a positive emotional background; to develop empathy, the ability to express their feelings; to develop cognitive interest; to increase the cohesion of participants.
Such an original reception and a positive attitude raised the mood of the defendants, rallied the team of convicts in the squad. This action aroused the interest of all its participants.
