Two cell phones and three routers, as well as SIM cards, were wrapped in a clever way and hidden inside three grilled chickens brought by a 44-year-old Pavlodar resident. -The transfer was intended for a 38-year-old convict serving a sentence for causing grievous bodily harm. The parcel with prohibited items was brought by an acquaintance of the convicted person. Thanks to the X-ray installation, prohibited substances were discovered and confiscated during the inspection of the parcel,” says the head of institution No. 63, Berik Rakhimov. Pre-trial detention center employees regularly conduct conversations with convicts and their relatives about preventing the carrying of prohibited items when delivering parcels and visiting the institution. However, visitors still commit such offenses, which entail liability before the law. An administrative protocol has been left against the man. The materials have been sent to court.
