A new wheelchair was handed to a convict with disabilities in the colony.

Employees of the RSU "Institution No. 46" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan solemnly handed over to the convicted disabled person of the 1st group Maryin Ruslan Vladimirovich, born in 1974, a means of individual rehabilitation - new wheelchairs instead of the previous one, which had worked out its resource. The set includes two strollers, a room and a walking one.

The convict thanked the administration of the institution for the attention and timely resolution of the issue of providing a means of rehabilitation. Representatives of the administration and medical staff congratulated the convict and wished him health, careful treatment, speedy correction, and subsequent release.

Ruslan is serving a sentence for murder and is imprisoned for 8 years of strict regime.

It should be noted that the institution contains two convicts of the 1st disability group with disabilities, one convict of the 2nd group and 24 convicts of the 3rd disability group.

According to the legislation, all of them receive means of rehabilitation and disability benefits, added Asel Maratovna Bozzhigitova, senior inspector of the convicts' labor organization group, Captain of Justice Bozzhigitova.
