On August 8 of this year, the Minister of Internal Affairs signed an order "On approval of the constituent documents of the republican state institutions of the Committee of the Penal Enforcement System of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
According to this document, the abbreviations denoting the territorial affiliation of the divisions of the UIS will be replaced by ordinal numbers.
