The first museum of natural sciences in Kazakhstan, which has no analogues in the country, the digitized museum "ERTIS"., which has 9 exhibition halls, was visited by employees of the "Institution AP-162/1" DUIS in Pavlodar region.
The modern two-storey museum is located in a building on the banks of the Irtysh.
The majestic and huge mammoth that greets visitors in the lobby of the ERTIS Museum, from which the tour begins, immediately fascinates and carries away far into the wilds of the history of the Pavlodar Irtysh region. Various finds from the territory of our region are presented here, which will help visitors gain additional knowledge about history, geology, archeology, ancient and medieval history.
The museum is very interesting because it is equipped with modern multimedia equipment: a real-book book, an information touch panel and modern installations. Our employees were able to plunge into different periods of development of the Pavlodar region.
There is also a hall where personal belongings of prominent personalities of the region, such as Kanysh Satpayev, Alkey Margulan, are exhibited,
The most ancient exhibits presented in the museum are the skeletons of the big–horned deer and bison more than 10 thousand years old, which were once taken out of Kazakhstan by Moscow scientists, but they managed to be returned back to their homeland.
The museum was especially interesting to employees, natives from other regions. Also on the tour there were children of employees who were introduced to multimedia technology with special enthusiasm and moved to different historical periods with the help of it.
- It was a planned visit to the museum as part of the implementation of the "Rukhani Zhangyru" program and in order to form a state-legal worldview, patriotism, aesthetic culture, as well as to increase the role of museum work in the education of employees of the penal system, - explained Deputy Chief Berik Rakhimov.
