90th anniversary of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan
On April 22, 2022, the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a large-scale festive event "KITAP SHOY -2022", dedicated to the World Book and Copyright Day, which is celebrated annually on April 23.
Events organized by the administration of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan were held in Almaty. in accordance with the plan for cooperation in terms of participation with the personnel of the DUIs, the library took part in the anniversary event.Together with the chief specialist responsible for the personnel policy of the Department, Lieutenant Colonel of Justice Zhanamanova A. A. and a co-worker involved in the development of the state language Kokenova Z. K., assigned employees of the department and each institution: young specialists visited an exhibition of interesting books, visited famous cultural figures Baglan Abdreimov, businessman Zhanas Adilbayev, world champion in freestyle wrestling and Sambo Syrym Bektursyn, He was specially invited to meet with the world and Asian champion Akbar Zharmagambetov, public figures, writers, as well as to host the children's festival "KITAP SHOY-2022", dedicated to the Year of child support. Director of the National Library B. Ospanova presented gifts to the distinguished guests, and well-known guests among the gathered youth and civil servants shared their views on the issue of reading books at the moment.
The participants listened to the stories of the guests and artists, watched their performances. The main purpose of this event was to introduce the younger generation and civil servants to the status of a culture of reading, to arouse interest in books.
