For the first time, an electronic tracking device has been installed in Almaty for a convict who has committed a "crime against sexual integrity".
The criminal is registered in the department of the probation service of the Nauryzbay district of the DUIS.
This was announced by the head of the probation service department for the Nauryzbay district of the Department of the Penitentiary System of Almaty, Major of Justice A. Nakypbekov.
He noted that "in accordance with paragraph 139 of the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 511 dated 15.08.2014, the Probation Service has the right to use electronic means of control to ensure proper probation control and obtain information about the restriction of freedom or the location of probation prisoners."
