The LA-155/18 institution in Almaty was visited by participants of the NGO in Almaty and Almaty region

Recently, on the recommendation of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Kazakhstan E. Azimova, participants of the NPO in Almaty and Almaty region Miroshnichenko Igor Olegovich, Hasanova Olesya Zakirovna and Mauseitova Saltanat Maratovna visited the LA-155/18 institution in Almaty and checked the cameras of persons detained in connection with the January incident.
During the inspection, they talked with the detainees and asked questions about the facts of torture. There were no complaints from the suspects about the conditions of detention in the pre-trial detention center. The investigators talked to each suspect in private.
