In the institution la-155/6 of the DUIs of Almaty, a literary evening dedicated to the 176th anniversary of the "homer of the XX century", the poet of the century, the poet of the century-Zhambyl Zhabayev was held among punitive teenagers together with the staff of the Zhambyl State Youth Library, Sharaina Kumarova.
The purpose of the literary evening is to promote the poet's poems, instill a sense of national values, morality, and patriotism.
Young convicts serving sentences recited Zhambyl's poems by heart in Kazakh and Russian, as well as poems by heart in two languages: "Halyk-my true name", "Zhastar zhakty", "about Algaday", "Leningrad orenim", "Balalar", etc.
It is his aitys that made Zhambyl a real poet known to the whole country. "I don't know," he said . He recited Zhambyl's poems by heart.
At the end of the concert program, employees of the Zhambyl State Youth Library held a concert "Zhyr giant-Zhambyl!"I don't know," he said. At the end of the event, Sharaina Fayzulayevna Kumarova awarded diplomas to those who read poems.
