Since the beginning of the year, more than 6,300 people have been detained in the pre-trial detention center LA-155/18

Delivery of convicts to other institutions in the Penal correction sphere is carried out jointly with units of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In this regard, a meeting was held in the Department of Uis in Almaty, which was attended by the leadership of the regional command of the National Guard "Ontustik", the UIs of Almaty region, the military unit No. 7552 and the institution la-155/18. Representatives of La-155/8, LA-155/12, LA-155/14, LA-155/4 institutions of Almaty region were also invited to the meeting.

At the meeting, the main issues of transporting convicts from one institution to another were considered, and a mutually beneficial decision was made. The participants of the meeting also discussed issues on the organization of relations between the headquarters.

Institution la-155/18 is one of the largest pre-trial detention centers in the Republic, in addition, it is a transit checkpoint where convicts are sent for further serving their sentences. Trains run daily on the routes Almaty – Uralsk, Almaty–Turkestan, Almaty–Karaganda, Almaty – Semey, Almaty – Zashchita.

For 11 months of this year, more than 6,300 people visited the La-155/18 pre-trial detention center, of which about 2,000 were sent in transit to other regions of the Republic.
