Prevention and suppression of new crimes

The Probation Service is now the main mentor and guardian for those whose punishment is not related to deprivation of liberty.

​Currently, about 400 convicts without isolation from society are registered in the Department of Probation Service of Zhetysu District of Almaty. Department statistics are constantly in motion. But, despite the huge workload, registered citizens are under the watchful supervision of probation officers.

To date, within the framework of the operational and preventive event" site", inspectors of the probation service together with district police inspectors of Zhetysu District of Almaty conduct an inspection of persons registered with the Probation Service.

When conducting inspections at the place of residence, convicted persons are reinterpreted the performance of duties assigned by the court, the procedure for bringing them to justice in case of non-performance, as well as the consequences of violation of the probation control procedure provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"First of all, these measures are carried out as prevention and suppression of the commission of new crimes by persons convicted of punitive measures that are not related to isolation from society. In addition, the main task is to prevent the recurrence of crimes, to determine the addresses of wanted convicts."

We remind that the operational and preventive procedure "site" will last until December of this year.
