Joint meeting on adaptation of convicted persons

In the co-working center of the youth wing "Jas Otan" of Almaty, the final round table of the project was held, which was developed on the initiative of the public fund "QAZAQSTAN JASTARY" with the support of the youth wing "Jas Otan" of Almaty for the purpose of social adaptation of citizens and citizens released from places of deprivation of Liberty.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Department of UIs of Almaty, who worked closely with the project coordinator Zaripov Beybarys, a specialist of the Employer Support Department of the employment center of Almaty, a psychologist of the Project, 8 district probation workers and employees of the Departments of educational, social and psychological work among convicts of institutions LA-155/13, LA-155/6, LA-155/18. 

8 district probation officers briefly reported on the work on social adaptation of citizens and citizens released from places of deprivation of Liberty. The project coordinator acted as a moderator and summed up the results of the work done. According to the project, in order to provide employment for citizens and citizens registered on probation, 51 psychological and legal consultations were provided.

At the end of the project, there was a free exchange of views, and thanks to the qualifications of the above-mentioned specialists, the goals set were achieved. The Public Foundation" Qazaqstan jastary " expressed its gratitude for the work done, as well as proposed additional activities for the next year, the advantages and improvements of the project were discussed.
