In Aktobe, employees of the department of regime and security of the KA-168/1 institution (pre-trial detention center), subordinate to the Department of the Criminal Investigation Department, seized a mobile phone and a SIM card carefully hidden in a banana during the inspection of a parcel that arrived at the institution.

A 29-year-old resident of the city named U. I. hid the prohibited items in a banana and tried to pass them to his acquaintance, the suspect-the accused, accused of being "engaged in a fictitious business."

"Citizen U. I. in his explanation fully admitted guilt. A protocol has been drawn up on the offender under articles 791,795 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the case has been sent to the specialized administrative court of Aktobe," said Ruslan Urazbayev, head of the Department of Criminal Justice in the Aktobe region.
