A resident of Aktobe tried to bring a phone in her underwear to the pre-trial detention center

Her parcel was intended for a 32-year-old son suspected of using narcotic drugs. The violation of the citizen was noticed by the staff of the detention center of the Department of Criminal Investigation in the Aktobe region, during the inspection the metal detector recorded a mobile phone, charger and SIM card.
"The administration of the institution repeatedly warns visitors about the responsibility for carrying prohibited items. But, despite this, relatives of convicted and remand-arrested persons continue to violate the legal requirements of the penitentiary institution," said Acting head of the institution KA-168/1 Arshat Burabayev.
