An expanded operational meeting was held at the Department of the Penal Correction System (DUIS) in the Aktobe region

Chaired by the Head of the Department of the Penal Correction System in the Aktobe region, Colonel of Justice Shaimerden Tazhikulovich Yesenkeldiyev, the expanded operational meeting reviewed the results of the first quarter of 2026.

The meeting was attended by heads of structural divisions of the department, heads of institutions, personnel, and staff members. During the meeting, the results of the work carried out were comprehensively analyzed, and appropriate assessments were given to the activities conducted and the performance indicators achieved.

During the session, the Head of the Department conveyed the instructions received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and outlined the main tasks and priority areas for the upcoming period, as defined at the board meeting. In particular, special attention was paid to issues of compliance with service discipline and legality, strengthening human resources capacity, increasing the effectiveness of preventive work with inmates and individuals under probation supervision, and improving the professional training of staff.

In addition, the need to strengthen the material and technical base, advance digitalization processes, and enhance efforts to protect the rights and legitimate interests of citizens was emphasized. Based on the shortcomings identified in the course of official activities, specific instructions were given to eliminate them and prevent their recurrence.

Following the meeting, a work plan for the upcoming period was approved, and all structural divisions of the department were instructed to ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of assigned tasks.
