As part of the national “Law and Order” concept, the Department of the Criminal Enforcement System of Aktobe Region, in cooperation with the прокуратура, organized a preventive event in the format of a teleconference at S. Baishev Aktobe University. The event brought together students of higher education institutions in the region and convicted individuals serving sentences in institutions of the criminal enforcement system.
The main goal of the meeting was to prevent offenses among young people, to form a stable legal awareness, and to foster a sense of personal responsibility for one’s actions. In an open dialogue format, participants discussed compliance with legal requirements, the inevitability of punishment, and the social consequences of unlawful actions.
The event was attended by Head of the Department of the Criminal Enforcement System of Aktobe Region Shaimerden Tazhyqulovich Yessenkeldiev, First Deputy Prosecutor of Aktobe Region Talgat Aitbayevich Alibayev, representatives of the prosecutor’s office, university management, faculty members, and students.
The speeches of the convicted individuals, who shared their life experiences, aroused particular interest among the youth. They spoke about the mistakes that led them to break the law and emphasized that every unlawful decision has serious consequences for the individual, the family, and society as a whole. These examples served as a clear warning for students and allowed them to look at the issue of offenses beyond official clichés and formal frameworks.
Representatives of the Department of the Criminal Enforcement System and the prosecutor’s office noted that this format of interaction is an effective tool for preventive work, helping to shape an intolerant attitude toward offenses among young people and to strengthen a culture of lawfulness in society.
The organizers emphasized that such events will be held on a regular basis, as crime prevention and work with youth are among the priority areas of activity of law enforcement agencies.
