The event "Rehabilitation Prison" and "Meeting at the Gate" was held at the RSU "Institution of the Criminal Code-161/11" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, within the framework of which a Comprehensive strategy for the social rehabilitation of citizens released from prison and registered with the Probation Service in Kazakhstan for 2019-2022, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in December 2016, is being implemented.
Preparation for release is the final section of the rehabilitation work plan with convicts. This activity includes the search for housing, work, etc. To perform these tasks, as a rule, freelance employees are involved.
The event was attended by a specialist of the employment center of the Akimat ofKostanay Zhanara Kasymova, specialist in social legal work Aigerim Bisembayeva, Deputy for medical and preventive work of polyclinic No. 4Kostanay Tatiana Zemtsova, Senior inspector of the probation service of Kostanay district, art. Lieutenant of Justice Syrym Karmanov, Head of the department of OVSPRSO DUIS in Kostanay region Aidos Ramazanov.
At the Rehabilitation Prison event, 10 convicts serving sentences in a minimum security institution expressed a desire to meet with representatives of local executive bodies. Two convicts were assisted in the labor arrangement after their release will be sent to the employment center.
On this day, three convicts were released, of them who were released on parole and on the DMN. The released convict S. during her stay found a soul mate in places of imprisonment in the same institution where she was, the couple got married. Tatiana Borisovna, the deputy for the LPR, explained to the convicts about a healthy lifestyle, as well as during the observation by a doctor.
