Representatives of religious denominations a visit to the UK-161/12 Institution was carried out

In order to improve the work on deradecalization of convicts, as well as providing practical assistance to the staff of the institution and working with convicted adherents of destructive religious movements and increasing knowledge in the field of religion, on April 29 of this year, a visit to the institution of the Criminal Code-161/12 was carried out, during the visit, theologian of the public foundation "Akniet" Omarov Turgan Gelmanovich, Senior police Lieutenant Ruslan Rysbekuly Mukhanov, a teacher-methodologist at the center for training specialists of the UIS in countering extremist ideology, and Major of Justice Ramazanov A.M., the head of the Department of Internal Affairs of the DUIS in the Kostanay region, after which 25 convicts were admitted.   

As the head of the OVSPRSO DUIS, Major of Justice Ramazanov A.M., notes, "these visits by theologians and imams have a positive impact on convicts, convicts receive the necessary knowledge in the field of religion, group and individual classes and conversations are conducted on an ongoing basis by theological and rehabilitation staff, and video materials and documentaries are viewed and discussed."
