Events dedicated to the International Women's Day were held in correctional institutions of the region

A large program was carried out for convicts of the colony-settlement. Women serving sentences were given the opportunity to visit beauty salons and boutiques with clothes.

- Every girl, especially on such a day, dreams of being the most special and beautiful, - the department noted. Therefore, within the scope of paragraph 2, paragraph 4 of Article 143 of the PEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan (with the permission of the administration) they could visit beauty salons. It is worth noting that this practice has a rather positive effect on convicts.

The men serving their sentences were not left without participation either. So, in order to maintain a healthy spirit, sports competitions were held among convicts in honor of the celebration of March 8 in table tennis, pull-up on the crossbar, chess, backgammon, checkers, mini football at the RSU "Institution of the Criminal Code-161/11". The convicted institutions were divided into several teams and actively participated in sports competitions.

The only convict serving her sentence in Arkalyk prison was congratulated by the staff on this special day, wishing her a speedy release and, most importantly, simple female happiness. The convict thanked in response not only for the gifts presented, but first of all for the constant attention and caring attitude towards her as a female representative. For other convicts, according to the norms of the law, the administration was given the opportunity to congratulate their close relatives (mothers, grandmothers, sisters, wives, daughters) with a video call. In turn, the convicts organized a small congratulatory program for the employees of the institution CC-161/12. During the performance, the convicts showed several scenes, read poetry. At the end of the festive event, the convicts of the economic detachment handed flowers made with their own hands to the women of the administration of the institution.

In a high-security colony, the administration organized video meetings with relatives and friends of the convicts. As it was noted, for convicts serving sentences in an institution from other regions of Kazakhstan and abroad, this was a great opportunity to personally congratulate their mothers, wives, daughters, grandmothers and sisters. So, convicted R., who has been serving a sentence in an institution since 2015, today on the eve of the holiday was glad to personally congratulate his daughter and see relatives and friends from the distant Republic of Tajikistan. Also, the convicts sent greeting cards and gifts made with their own hands for relatives and beloved women.

The probation services were not left without attention. So, flowers were handed to several convicts registered with the joint venture of Kostanay district.
