Labor of convicted persons in places of deprivation of liberty as one of the means of their correction

Labor is classified by legislative acts as one of the main means of Correction of convicted persons. In modern conditions, the employment of convicts is a very important task to create jobs so that there are no unemployed convicts who are obliged to work in places of deprivation of liberty and contribute to production, earn money from which they can buy food and basic necessities, as well as compensate for the damage caused by criminal acts. All this creates the right attitude to the problem of social adaptation after the release of convicts.

Also, the presence of unemployed convicts in places of deprivation of Liberty significantly complicates the criminal situation in them and leads to demoralization of persons, contributes to an increase in aggression among convicts, which in turn leads to the commission of new offenses and crimes by convicts in correctional institutions.
