Nauryzbay kazy Taganuly elected Supreme Mufti

At the IX extraordinary kurultai of the Religious Administration of Kazakhstan Muslims, held on February 7, 2020, in the city of Nur Sultan, Serikbay kazy Oraz nominated Nauryzbay kazy Taganuly for the position of Chairman of the RAKM.

300 participants of the kurultai unanimously supported the candidacy of Serikbay Kazha Oraz and elected Nauryzbay Kazha Taganovich as the Supreme Mufti.

Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dauren Abaev praised the work of Serikbay kazy Oraz in 2017–2020 and wished Nauryzbay kazy Taganovich success in his new position as Chairman of the RAKM, Supreme mufti of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He also expressed his intention to continue cooperation in the field of religion.
