Meeting with the pastor of the Evangelical Church of the United States in Cambodia Paris Louis Dominguez.

Today, deputy chairman of the Committee of Public Accord of the Ministry of Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Balgabek Myrzaev met with the pastor of the US Evangelical Church in Cambodia, Paris Luis Dominguez. The meeting was attended by the chairman of the “Association of Religious Organizations of Kazakhstan” A. Klyushev and the head of the office for relations with Christian and other religious associations of the Committee for Public Accord A. Chigirova.

During the meeting Balgabek Myrzaev spoke about the activities of the Ministry, about the achievements of Kazakhstan in the field of interfaith relations, noted the desire of our country to adhere to secular principles and develop democracy.

In general, the meeting was held in the form of a constructive dialogue, to which comprehensive answers to questions from Paris Luis Dominguez were given. In addition, following the meeting, a desire was expressed to increase dialogue in the field of religion between Kazakhstan and the United States.
