Chairman of the CDR E.Nukezhanov made a working visit to the Almaty region

Chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ye.Nukezhanov, during his visit to the Almaty region, met with the chief imam of the Almaty region and the imams of the SAMK representative office in Karasai district. Also, during the visit, a meeting was held with women returned to the country as part of the operation "Zhusan" and representatives of the Public Foundation "Akniet", who are engaged in their rehabilitation. 

During the meeting, the issues of applying new approaches to the implementation of priority areas of state policy in the religious sphere conducted in the region, state-confessional and interfaith relations and regulation of relations between various confessional groups were discussed. 

Thus, during the exchange of views, they discussed the implementation of measures in the field of religion in Almaty city and Almaty region and the Comprehensive Plan for the Implementation of state Policy in the religious sphere of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2021-2023; and a number of topical issues that arose in the process of adaptation of rehabilitated citizens to social life were voiced. 

In addition, the Chairman of the committee met with specialists of the Department of Religious Affairs and Centers for the Study of Religious Problems in Almaty city and Almaty region.
