Darkhan Kaletayev met with the head of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kazakhstan

On August 29, Minister of Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Kaletayev met with the head of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Archbishop Yuri Novgorodov.

During the conversation, Darkhan Kaletayev expressed gratitude for the support and participation of representatives of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, as well as for the suggestions made in the development of the bill on religious activities and religious associations.

In turn, Archbishop Yuri Novgorodov spoke about the life of the Lutheran community in Kazakhstan, shared plans for events aimed at preserving traditional moral values.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Public Accord Balgabek Myrzaev, Manager of the Affairs of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Republic of Kazakhstan Oksana Yakovleva, pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanibek Batenov.
