The danger of religious extremism will be explained through comics

The first Kazakh comic aimed at preventing religious extremism and terrorism has been developed.

A comic called "MEIRMAN", commissioned by the Ministry of Information and Social Development, explains the danger of following radical religious ideology through the prism of the lives of citizens returned to their homeland as part of Operation Zhusan.

The format of comics was chosen for a reason, in order to convey the message of the fight against extremism to the younger generation, since intolerance to extremism needs to be cultivated from school.

It should be noted that when developing preventive content, the Ministry takes into account the needs of the target audience using trending formats among young people.

The comic tells about the difficulties that a boy named Meirman had to face during his stay in the zone of terrorist activity in Syria. Despite all the obstacles, thanks to his perseverance, kindness and strong spirit, Meirman was able to reunite with his family and return to his native Kazakhstan, becoming a worthy citizen of his country.

At the end of the story, the main character emphasizes the value of peace and tranquility that Kazakhstan has been able to achieve over the years of Independence. Only in a country without wars and strife is there a place for development and prosperity.

The comic "MEIRMAN" can be found on the social networks TikTok and Instagram, as well as on Internet portals.
